Today Room One had a fantastic afternoon sharing and learning with Room Eight. Our Year 1 buddy class came to share their Autumn Leaves cinquain poetry. They had also created colourful autumn leaves artwork.
Once they had shared, we shared a little about our new iPads. In groups we used Puppet Pals to take the leaves from Room 8's art, photographed a background and recorded some of the poetry.
As seniors in our school our aim was not to show our buddies how to make the animation, but to help them learn and do it themselves. At times we did it well, but there were parts we found difficult!

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed listening to your poems and watching how you illustrated them using Puppetpals. I really liked how you read the poems together. I think your buddy class would have felt proud to share them with you and if it wasn't for you they may not have been published in such a cool way for the world to listen too!
