First Aid Survival!

On Monday the 28th of March 2011 in Room 1 at Pahoia School, Keri from St John came into our class and gave us some advice that someday might help us to save someone`s life. We were told how to put a sling on somebody, how to put bandages on, how to use saline solution, how to act when somebody is injured, which is to stay calm and not crowd around the patient. Plus not to say to the patient you have a massive gash on your body because they would freak out!

Our Principal Mr Wadsworth just happened to injure himself on the building site outside. "One of the support poles fell on me" he said! He stumbled into our class and had massive gashes in his right arm, left thigh and on the right side of his forehead. We were able to help him with all the supplies we had.
